The Secrets |
The Secrets are Charleston’s longest running funk show performing in the area for almost ten years. Since, 1997, The Secrets have continued to please crowds with a soulful mix of funk, blues, jazz and Motown. The band features JAMES HOLMES on drums and lead vocals, JOHN FITZGEARLD on the keyboards, TONY "HIRRICAN" COBIN on bass and vocals, BOBBY SIMMONS on lead guitar and vocals, BILL WISON on saxophone and lead vocals, and AISHA "ALMIGHTY ISIS" SMITH on lead vocals.
The band has performed at dozens of weddings over the years making many brides events. They perform regularly on Charleston’s club scene satisfying all the funk fans in the area. The major influences include James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire, Grand Funk Rail Road, Marvin Gaye, Cameo, Lake Side, Jonathan Butler, Jimi Hendrix, Donny Hathaway, Parliment Funkadelic, and many more....
