Christy Loftin is a native of Halifax , Virginia but has lived in Charleston the majority of her life. She loves the beauty of the Lowcountry and thoroughly enjoys officianting weddings both in the historic churches of Charleston as well as the gorgeous outdoor venues.
Christy is a notary public and has been performing civil ceremonies for 8 years in and around the Lowcountry. She has attended theology classes as well as psychology at the College of Charleston. She is an active member of the Episcopal Church (St. Michaels) but is delighted to perform interfaith vows as well.
Christy has many ceremonies to choose from ranging from the most traditional to non-traditional vows. She is happy for clients to choose vows as they stand, mix and match the ceremonies, or provide your own. She asks that she have selections one week prior to the event in order for her to familiarize herself enough to make your wedding personal and not simply “reading “ to you and your guests the day of your wedding.
Hiring Christy also includes consultation and a rehearsal of the ceremony. |
